The Deal Hunter cover: one secondhand armchair caught in an amber searchlight, with the Founding 25 seal. Headline: Your Muse scout for Marketplace and buy/sell groups.

Their alert is where your work starts. Our brief is where your work ends.

A doorbell says "something matched." Then you open it, check it, price it, and write the message. A scout already did all that. You just decide, tap, go.

Split graphic. Top, grey: Other tools: a doorbell — a bare alert, then open it, check it, price it, write the message. Bottom, navy and amber: The Deal Hunter: a scout's report — item checked, price and town confirmed, sold comps, net after fees and drive, what to check at the door, message drafted, you send it. Strip: Decide. Tap. Go.

7 reasons a scout beats a doorbell

Why a brief beats a ping

1

You keep getting sniped

You tap an alert on break and the item's already "pending." Or you see it at midnight, two days after it went up.

The Deal Hunter checks for you on a schedule you set, so you're not the one refreshing all day.

About every hour · about every 30 min on "Hot" hunts Gloved hand holding a glowing phone inside a parked pickup on a snowy evening.

2

It hunts where doorbells don't

Most alerts only watch Marketplace. This one also reads the buy/sell groups you already belong to, where a lot of local stuff never gets listed anywhere else.

It also catches misspelled listings ("chester drawrs") and "must go" posts, and it goes back for buried listings sitting at day 7 and day 14 that everyone scrolled past.

It hunts where doorbells don't: Marketplace plus your own buy/sell groups; misspellings and must-go listings; buried day-7 and day-14 listings plus price-drop second chances.
3

Junk dies before it reaches you

Over-cap prices, wrong towns, "charger only," dealer lots, stuff you already saw. A filter kills each one before it ever gets near your phone.

Then comes the last test, the Stop-The-Truck test: would a sensible hunter actually drive over and buy this? If not, it's gone, however good the numbers look on paper.

Dark room full of tangled chargers and cheap furniture; one amber searchlight beam lights a single cordless drill on a crate.

4

It opens the listing so you don't have to

Before it pings you, it reads the whole post. Do the photos match the words? Is it really the item, not a case or a part? Are the price and town right?

If it can't confirm it, it doesn't send it. (A search once proudly turned up snow pants for a snow blower hunt. That's the kind of thing this step catches.)

"I couldn't verify" is a full answer. No guessing.
5

Honest numbers, labeled

Asking price, sold comps, and estimates are different things, and every brief labels which is which. If there aren't solid comps, the brief says "thin comps" or "my estimate" instead of making one up.

Flipping? It does the math for you: what it sold for, minus fees and shipping, minus the drive.

6

A brief on your phone. You send the message.

When a find is real, you get a short brief: why it made the cut, what to check at the door, and a first message already drafted in your voice.

You read it, tap send yourself, and go. It never messages sellers. That's on purpose.

Illustrated example. Made-up listing.

7

Pay once. No monthly bill.

No subscription. You get one PDF. Attach it to a chat with your Muse, paste one sentence, and your Muse sets itself up by asking easy questions. If you're unsure, say "you pick."

It runs on your own Muse and your own Facebook account. You never type a password into a chat.

Dead simple to start: 1. Attach the PDF to your Muse. 2. Paste one sentence. 3. Get scout's reports — decide, tap, go. Get The Deal Hunter — $39Founding 25 · one-time

What the junk filter throws out

  • Over the price cap (near-misses go on a price-drop watch instead)
  • Outside the towns on the hunt card
  • Accessories posing as the item: cases, chargers, "battery only"
  • Dealer lots and "easy payments" listings
  • Anything that fails the Stop-The-Truck test

Straight talk

What it won't do

Empty snowy road at pre-dawn with one pair of headlights far off.
It's scheduled, not real-time. It checks about every hour, or about every 30 minutes on Hot hunts during your waking hours. In a fast market, a hot listing can still sell between checks.
It finds and judges. You buy. It never messages, offers, or pays anyone. Every message goes out from your own thumb, or it doesn't go out.
Quiet weeks happen. Some weeks nothing on your cards is worth your money, so it stays quiet. That means your standards are working. The weekly summary shows it's still running.
It won't make you rich. It saves you the refreshing and hands you checked finds. What you do with them is up to you.
No tool can promise zero account risk. It uses your own login at a normal pace, never asks for your password, and stops if Facebook asks you to confirm it's you.

Questions

Before you buy

Is it instant?

No, and we won't pretend it is. It checks on a schedule: about hourly, or about every 30 minutes on Hot hunts during your waking hours. You can set it to check more often. It will warn you once that very frequent checking can make an account look automated, then run what you choose.

Will it message sellers for me?

Never. It drafts a first message, and you decide whether to send it yourself. Automated messaging is how Marketplace accounts get in trouble.

Is my Facebook account safe?

It runs through your own account at a normal pace, never asks for your password, and stops if Facebook asks you to confirm it's you. That lowers the risk, but no tool can honestly promise zero.

What do I need?

Your own Meta Muse and a Facebook account with Marketplace access. You attach one PDF, paste one sentence, and answer easy questions. You don't need any code.

What if it doesn't find anything?

Quiet runs are normal when nothing on your cards is worth the money. The weekly summary shows how many checks ran and how much junk got filtered, so you can see it's working.

Will this make me money?

We don't promise that. It finds and checks deals. Whether you buy, keep, or resell them is up to you.

Is "Founding 25" a sale?

No. It's the price for the first 25 buyers, who help decide what the updates fix first. After 25, it's $79.

Is this made by Meta?

No. Muse Agents is independent. Unofficial — not affiliated with Meta.
